Pray and Praise With Us
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Pray and Praise With Us
Our pastor back in California used to have a saying; “Prayer is not a last resort, but it’s the first and best way to approach our lives”. We have found this to be true the longer we continue on the quest, this adventure, to see God’s hand in our lives and the lives of others.
In our family, we like to look at verses and in speaking and understanding them, we like to see if reading them differently might provide, yield a new or different understanding.
Philippians 4:7 is one of those cases. Try reading it as a admonition from the Lord. Are you anxious? We joke as sometimes we seem to have so much going on at one time, “nothing” just might be a relief, a respite if you will, from the rush and clutter that at face value feels impossible.
First things first they say. As the body of Christ, we can lift our lives together and when we do that in prayer, together, even across the globe, we are bringing Glory to God as we put Him first.

Snow Blower: Update
Status: Praying For
The snowblower we purchased used mechanically failed. 🙁
We get heavy snow during the season here. The snowfall this year has been coming late and in intermittent heavy spurts.
With the wonderful large parking area provided with the Hospitality House, clearing the heavy snow can be a big undertaking. If we don’t manage it well, it is very dangerous for our visitors when the snow becomes ice as it tries to melt.
We had to replace the failed one. In Faith, we purchased a new one with a warranty. We are praying that our supporters will help us out if they feel led with this major purchase.
Building: Cafe Ministry
Status: Praying For
We have a vision to open a cafe near the base. This building would have the cafe and some living quarters. We want to invite students and missionaries looking at Asia ministries to serve in the cafe and receive training and discipleship.
CC Vertical Life
Status: Praying For
We are faithfully holding Saturday services at 10:00 am for the community and those who are unable to attend chapel Sundays on the base.
Fellowships in Japan are small by US standards. Pray that God would bring the people who need to hear the Gospel and be encouraged in their Faith.
Pray that He would guide and direct our efforts to His glory.
