Pray and Praise With Us
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Pray and Praise With Us
Our pastor back in California used to have a saying; “Prayer is not a last resort, but it’s the first and best way to approach our lives”. We have found this to be true the longer we continue on the quest, this adventure, to see God’s hand in our lives and the lives of others.
In our family, we like to look at verses and in speaking and understanding them, we like to see if reading them differently might provide, yield a new or different understanding.
Philippians 4:7 is one of those cases. Try reading it as a admonition from the Lord. Are you anxious? We joke as sometimes we seem to have so much going on at one time, “nothing” just might be a relief, a respite if you will, from the rush and clutter that at face value feels impossible.
First things first they say. As the body of Christ, we can lift our lives together and when we do that in prayer, together, even across the globe, we are bringing Glory to God as we put Him first.
Let’s do this prayer walk together.

Housing: An affordable home. We don’t own a house or property and will be starting from square one.
Basic Furniture: Bed (Queen), chests of drawers, dining table and chairs, sofa.
Jobs: We both need jobs that will bring sufficient income for our living and housing needs.

English Cafe: International Center & HH
Status: Praise
The English Cafe we hold at the local International Center has been going well. It supports a significant inroad into the local community.
The English Cafe has dovetailed into a women’s study held here once a month. This study starts with teaching a group of women how to cook “something American” and then a class teaching English using the Bible.
This has shown to be very successful not only previously in the Tokyo area, but now here in Misawa.
